Your lashes are meant to catch debris to protect your eyes and your extensions will do the same. Build up of oil, skin, dirt, and makeup on your extensions will cause premature shedding and can break down the adhesive. Clean lashes equals a better long lasting set of lash extensions!
So we know that lashes protect your eyes from debris, they also protect your eyes from infection. Over time this buildup can lead to blepharitis. Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelids commonly caused when tiny oil glands at the base of the eyelash become clogged. This causes dandruff-like flakes to form, wrapping around the base of the eyelashes. The eyelids may appear red, swollen, or feel sore. This can also cause premature loss of your natural lashes. Washing your lashes keeps this buildup from occurring.
Keeping your eyelashes clean is crucial for two main reasons: retention and lash health. Lash Retention is simply how long eyelash extensions last on the natural lash before falling out.Yes, your eyelashes need to be cleaned on a daily basis. If your lashes arenβt clean then they arenβt going to last and this is mainly due to oil. If you do not wash and remove this oil then it will wear down the adhesive until the bond is broken which will cause the extension to fall off (and it happens quicker than youβd think).

No! The product gets caught between lashes and build up. This, in turn, becomes much harder to clean and may lead to premature lash loss and affect your eye health!
If you would like to take the lashes off yourself because I am either booked or you just donβt want me to remove them professionally you can use a cotton ball with canola oil or coconut oil
